These hangers are fabulous. They seem to hold up good, and definitely hold your clothing well, without leaving that black fuzzy residue some "velvet" lined hangers do. (Well,as long as your clothes are dry; these will NOT do well on damp nothing that needs to hang dry.) Taking up less room, they provide a sleek, slimline effect and more uniform appearance to the closet - so much nicer than the chunky, clunky plastic hangers in every way! (That's definitely an important factor if you're OCD like me haha,,,)Bought a large pack to redo my entire closet, and am intro'ing my Gentleman Friend to them as well!These hangers are very sturdy, durable, but also super light weight. I’ve had no problem so far hanging items of different weights from t shirts, to dresses or coats of heavier material to thick jeans. I would not recommend using these to hang any tops that have a tight neck, as it might take a bit of effort and stretching of the fabric to get them on the hanger, but otherwise, these are great so far.These hangers are great because your clothing won’t slide off like it does with wire or even wooden hangers!These hangers are light weight, yet very sturdy. Since they are covered with a type of velvet like fabric, my clothes don't ever fall off. On the plastic and wood hangers, clothes are always slipping off. The hangers are also not bulky, so you can have more room in your closet. I won’t use any other now. My whole family feels the same way.I know—you are thinking they are just hangers. But these are strong hangers that your clothes won’t fall off of, with convenient swivel hooks, and they won’t stain your wet clothes if you hang them to dry (in fact they help hold their shape). I got the white ones. I’m changing my whole closet to use these.So much better than plasticDidn’t realize they were all velvet when I bought them. Makes it a little hard to hang clothes on. I thought they were plastic and just rubber or velvet on the tops where the shoulders sit.These are awesome hangers! these are my second set and, I have tried multiple other brands that have not worked or have broken within a few days of use. These however have been able to last a long time. a few things i have noticed.1) They can hold a pair of jeans without bending2) They do not become brittle over time4) You can fit MORE of them in a small spaceI highly recommend them!This product is more brittle than a dried popsicle stick. Half the hangers have broken under the weight of having light clothes on them.My 7 year old can break the hanger in half with a single half.This product is crap. Do not buy!!A really small concern, that won't matter to many people but for the ones like me, there is a writing / engraving on the hook of the hanger facing you when hanging and it really didn't fit the open closet look and the personal store experience I was looking for. As I said it won't matter to many people, but as normal hangers don't have that writing / engraving on the metal part of the hook it really got my OCD triggered. I gave them to a friend that really didn't mind that detail. For the rest they are perfectly fine velour hangers.Not sure if other's who commented on the quality/strength got a different brand but these are great quality! I purchased 3 boxes and have sweaters, jeans and shirts hanging. I never had an issue unboxing or since. Would definitely buy again and for the price, would recommend to others. I don't notice any shedding from the velvet (on say-white clothing). I don't hang any clothes that are wet on these until they're fully dry.I purchased 6 packs of these hangers to replace all the mismatched ones in my closet, and have been using them for about a month.Pros:- Very slim so you can use closet rod space efficiently.- Velvet coating ensures clothes don't slip.- Can handle heavier pants across the horizontal bar.- Aesthetically pleasing.- Better price when compared to Costco and Walmart (Aug 2017 in Ontario, Canada).Cons:- For the first couple of times you handle them, the velvet coating will leave some fibres on your hands. I used a lint roller to minimize this when hanging light-coloured clothes. So far, it looks like loose fibres diminish over time.- Out of the 300 I bought, a few hanger hooks were loose, but still usable. (UPDATE Nov 2017: There were 2 that fell apart after a few months use)- For very stretchy long sleeve shirts or heavier sweaters, hanger bumps will still occur. In this case, you should fold and hang them over the horizontal bar.Overall, I really like these hangers, and will purchase more in the future when I run out. If you haven't had velvet hangers before, it may take some time to adjust to them. You can't just slide them into shirts like you would with plastic/metal hangers.I bought these because I was sick of my shirts slipping off my plastic hangers and making a mess of my closet floor.These are velvet(obviously lol), have little notches to keep spaghetti strap shirts and dresses in place, super thin and surprisingly durable!I originally did not notice the notches in the hanger in the product photos, but I’m soooo happy they’re there since I was worried some of my shirts and dresses would fall off anyways. I also ended up hanging my winter coat and some thicker sweaters on these, so far the hanger doesn’t appear warped.I also thought maybe FIFTY hangers would be overkill, but went ahead with it anyways because it’s better to have a few too many and these were not expensive. I ended up using every single one since they were so thin and freed up drawer space.I’m so glad I purchased these!
